First of all: %^$#@$&@%#^%@$#%^@&*%@&%*#%&@&*#%@&

How the dingdong can I manage to get a picture under 256 KB?! So far I cannot do it without making it the size of a stamp. It's getting EXTREMELY annoying. I've spent more than an hour fiddling with photoshop and I've either havto reduce the quality so much my piece looks like Lego or you can print it and stick it to a postcard! *grumble*

Anyway, here is the big picture. If anyone knows any useful tricks with Photoshop to get this picture small enough while managing enough resoltion, please share because I don't have a clue.

I'm relatively happy with this guy. I'm very happy with the weathering, but the tidyness on some parts could be slightly better. Oh well, he will kick major butt on the table with the Butcher :)

Did you save the picture in the Save for web option instead of just hitting save or save as. That should make a truckload of differnce in filesize while keeping the on screen quality of the picture good and the size the good size on screen.

*Gives Cindy a digital kiss!*

THANK YOU!
That did the trick! I never knew about that function...and I think I will severely abuse it from now on. Picture has been uploaded.
Thanks again Cindy!

It all depends on the type of program you are using. Most will allow you to get to the JPEG compression parameters, and you can perform enough compression to get it under the limit. A small amount of compression can get a significant amount of savings.

I don't normally like most Warmachine pieces, but that is simply amazing.

I didn't knew about the function as well untill recently. The awfull pixilated pictures of for instance my winged cat girl for the last femme fatale comp was due to me trying to get the pictures small enough file size to work. Someone mentioned this function on cmon ... been using it ever since. Sure happy that I found that out.
