Interesting customer loyalty program.
One of the little surprises we have promised is here! Every Old Glory (http://theminiaturespage.com/man/oldglory/) Army Card Member will receive 1 free Pirate Captain (unpainted) the first week of every month for a year. We are a bit off-schedule with your first Pirate, but it will be in the mail to you next week.
As an added bonus for our Army Card members, we will be having a drawing every day at Historicon 2007 (http://historicon.org/), and the daily prize will be a complete set of the monthly Pirate Captains that have been painted by Robert Brown, who will be painting the pirates that appear in our TMP announcements. Winners need not be present at Historicon (http://historicon.org/) to win.
We don't want anyone to feel left out, so we have decided that "Civilians" (non-members) may purchase the Pirate Captains for $3.00 USD each by calling Old Glory (http://theminiaturespage.com/man/oldglory/), or off of the oldglory25s.com (http://oldglory25s.com/) website.
Starting on Tuesday, August 15th, we will draw and announce the winner of the Pick Your Green drawing - which will be held on the 15th of every month for all of our Card Members. If you are the winner and do not want a green, you may choose instead $150.00 USD retail value of Old Glory (http://theminiaturespage.com/man/oldglory/)/Old Glory Shipyard (http://theminiaturespage.com/man/merrimack/) products.
We will announce the winners' names on TMP the day of the drawing, but if you just can't wait for the announcement to appear on TMP, you can check out the oldglory25s.com (http://oldglory25s.com/) website for the winner's name. The oldglory25s.com (http://www.oldglory25s.com/) website is the official site for all the announcements regarding The Old Glory Army, and listings of the winners of the drawings.
The winner of our first-prize drawing at Historicon 2006 (http://historicon.org/) was Merle Delinger of Lansing, Kansas. Merle was the excited winner of a painted 25mm Merrimack/Old Glory Shipyard (http://theminiaturespage.com/man/merrimack/) pirate ship.
This is just the beginning of the fun for the Old Glory (http://theminiaturespage.com/man/oldglory/) Army Card Members - keep watching for other surprises and announcements. We have already pre-determined what next year's monthly surprise will be. So look for your new Pirate Captain the first week of every month. This is even more proof that joining the Old Glory (http://theminiaturespage.com/man/oldglory/) Army isn't just about the discount or the "laminated card."
