Check this out:

http://www.displacedminiatures.com/1999%20Resources/default.aspx

RobH of Coat of Arms painting has put together this excellent resource for the 1999 game. The game is indeed dead, but a devoted core of fans is trying to get some interest in it kicked up, so we can at least get the missing minis released, or maybe even see the game come back in some form!

If you have any info not on this site, about minis or fan sites or whatever, please drop Rob or myself a line, and we'll get it posted.

If you haven't tried the game, and can get some models, do it! You'll be pleased. I can send the starter rules to anyone who is interested, as all the blisters come w/ a tiny rulebook, and I've accumulated quite the stack! PM me here, at DisplacedMiniatures.com, or at LeadAsbestos@adelphia.net.

Thanks!

Thank you LA for sharing this. Some really neat miniatures that I wish were still in production, specifically the demonic ones. Very neat!

Do you know who sculpted these or how to contact them? Why did the company go bust?

Some nice miniatures there LA. Let me know if you come across some that you are willing to pass on, think I would like a chance at a couple of these.

I would like to suggest, that if you are able, larger pictures would be very much appreciated. Couldn't really see much on some of these, though I have seen them in galleries and the like.

Did Cell go belly up and sell off the company or just put it in the dust bin? I'm curious as to who ran the company as well and how to possibly get in touch with them.

Lots of good info! esp. on some of the rares turning up.
Photos are small, but these are really all we have to work with. Help out, and keep your eyes peeled!
Cell went belly up stretching themselves out too far w/ too little support, the same old story. Hopefully all this talk will make the rights-owners come out of hiding and make somebody a deal! I'd love to see this game come back.

And yes. the Demonics are the coolest! Working on finishing up my force right now.

Werner Klocke did a lot of the sculpting, esp. on the Angelics. Just got myself a bunch in the mail yesterday from Brookhurst Hobbies. Nice stuff.

The minis are stunning. I just got a De Sade Apocalypse rider and the mount is possibly the best horse sculpt I've seen. Waiting for some more to arrive this week :)

Gotta love those Angelic's, awesome mini's, wouldn't mind getting hold of some of those.

I like the miniatures - it would be interesting trying to get ahold of the original owners/creators of the games/miniatures/molds. Let me know LA if you ever run a line down on them.

As for the horses Spacemunkie, I haven't seen this one in particular, but I have just recently ran across the old RAFM miniatures and I found a bunch of ghost riders and the like and they have some damn neat 'Nightmares' and the like. Picked up a few because I thought they were so neat.

Sorry to crosspost, but if anyone is interested in some rare Demonics, please see the thread in the Barter-Sell-Trade section. We need 12 buyers!

I can get some size comparison shots in my Gallery tonight if that would help anyone. I'll do Demonics/ DeSade Humans/ Foundry Vikings/ GW Ogres. Hopefully everyone will have seen one of these for some sense of scale.

Hope that helps! New stuff in the rest of the Demonic gallery too.

That scale comparision really helps. I have developed a real fondness for these.
