We have made a move over to a new software for our webstore for Wyrd, using a cart software that is much more stable and allows for a whole heap more of services such as wish lists, gift certificats, reviews and more. Top that off with that it makes life a whole lot easier for me behind the scenes and we're finally able to integrate the shop visualy with the rest of the site.

Being that it is new software, the old user files from our last online stare are NOT compatiable with the new software, thus you will need to create a new user profile when ordering from the online store. This user profile is INDEPENDENT of your Wyrd account information, so your Wyrd forum accounts will not work for the software.

There are still a few visual upgrades that we are making with the software so you might possibly see some changes, but everything is secured with an SSL certificate and secured payment through paypal (or money orders). Credit cards, independent of Paypal, will be implimented in the near future.

The store URL has changed and has been updated on the Wyrd website, but for those of you that like direct links, you can find it here:

And to kick off the new web store, we are now selling the latest Wyrd miniatures through the webstore, Leveticus - Steampunk Sorcerer, Misaki - Warmaiden and Seamus - The Mad Hatter.

Here are studio paint jobs of two of the three latest miniatures, Leveticus and Seamus. Misaki is still under the brush and will make an appearance in the near future, with a special announcement as well (heh, had to throw that bit of a teaser in!). Anders Eklund painted these two:

Keep in mind folks, as I've gotten a couple of PM's on this already, you need to register a NEW account with the store as the new software is not compatiable with the old.

So, make a new account, log in, and do your shopping.

IF there are problems or something that you percieve as a bug, please let me know and I'll get on it immediately.

Shipping to Italy takes about nine days usually going Airmail Letter (which is odd that they call it letter, as its actually a parcel, but anyhow ...)

Thanks Drake, appreciate the comment.

Yup Witchfire, just adding them in today. One of those things that I've got to get done up proper, but was more interested in getting OUT of the old store and IN to the new one as it is much better setup IMO and frankly, I was dying to get the darn thing opened and get out of the other one.

Now ... erm ... order something. I have needs .. bills ... bills .. did I say anything about bills yet?

:p:

Alrighty, a couple of folks have said that when they go to view the 'details' of a miniature, that it just reloads the page. So far, only two out of a bunch of said this, so it is either something random, or settings on browsers that is making an issue. Either way, I'm looking into it, and if you have problems, just let me know so I can have a go at it.

Create an account on the store if you are having these problems. Curious if this will fix this little oddity. PM me if you have issues.

when i click on any of the minis on the bestsellers list instaed of showing that item in the shop it simply reloads the page. I`m using Firefox.
edit: the same thing happens when I`m clicking the "details" button or the image thumbnail.
also I`ve noticed the link to the forum is broken in the shop. instead of linking to http://wyrd-games.net/forum.php it links to http://www.wyrd-games.net/shop/forum.php
BTW - can`t register in the shop. the "reload" thingie hits again :/

edit2: managed to get registration form. instaed of clicking register I`ve tried to log in. Of course I`ve received response "invalid username or password" in the main window/frame. But when I clicked "register" there I recieved registration form correctly.

edit3: registering solved "reload" problems (at least as long as I`m logged in).

noticed the engine returns different web links depending whether I`m logged in or not
example:
1.not logged
http://www.wyrd-games.net/shop/home.php/product.php?productid=16147&cat=0&bestseller=Y

2.logged
http://www.wyrd-games.net/shop/product.php?productid=16147&cat=250&bestseller=Y

change the link to the shop from:
http://www.wyrd-games.net/shop/home.php/
to
http://www.wyrd-games.net/shop/
and I guess everything will work fine

Alrighty, try the new link that I put up. It's going to take you to a very ugly static page, but clicking there and going forth from there should hopefully take care of it.

Thanks to Przemas if it works.

Damnit, I really, really do want your money. :D

Yeah, wasn't something everyone had trouble with, but enough that I'm sure it caused some problems today.

Minis are about to go into the light beam transporter, just have to get the gerbils off it.

It still must have had some life to it then cause I took a iron rod and beat on it for a few minutes myself.

Quite stress releaving I must admit ...

How do you view someone else's wish list?

Frustrated Father
08-04-2006, 02:14 AM
Can't, though that would be a good feature, might have to look into that and see if it is something that I can impliment. The wishlist, as it stands now, is something that you put together it'll ask you if you wish to e-mail it to someone and then it will.

Great for the holidays or for those family members that say 'just let me know what you want' and its a quick way to do so Likely not something that will get used tons, but a nice added feature nonetheless.

Now to look into that other idea ...

Didn't want to start a whole new thread.......so............any news on the new "Catacomb Prowlers"...............my CC has cooled off and I can handle it now. :)

Frustrated Father

One is being fixed up and remolded, that would be one of the ghosts from the three pack, though I do have enough to sell them buggers right now. The rest of them are waiting for painted product as, frankly, I hate releasing on green pictures and this time about the green pictures didn't get the final heave ho but will in the near future.

Anyhow, the Catacomb Prowlers will come three to a pack, for $12USD each. Three Ghosts (Phantoms mabye ... dunno ... have to think on a proper name there), three Zombies and three Imps.

Sooon .. I hope. :D I'm sure the threat of whip marks and lubricant towards Eric and Ritual will get them moving.
