News: Rackham site make-over and new stuff

Sergeant Crunch has dealt with most of the new figures by now. But I happened to notice that they redid the site a bit (buttons, minor navigation changes and so on). Looks nice. Cadwallon look. http://www.rackham-store.com
And the main site looks cool too http://www.rackham.fr/ (be sure to have flash installed or it won't work) Looks like that Cadwallon line finally takes off good now... I'm happy with that, eventhough my wallet isn't... some really nice stuff there.

Nice scenery, but at rackham prices (these scenery sets (amd the signs and barrel sets) retail for 9 euro each). Still I might pay it for the rats. I like those.

The started selling single parts too besides whole blisters. Good for conversion or replacing bad parts. But again I don't think it will come cheap. But still the option is nice.

well not only store site looks much cooler now, but the main site after rebuilding is fantastic too (well maybe not so informative and gamer orientated but simply plain pleasure to view)

Just adding this "news" to the thread as lack of info doesn't make it deserve a new one I think. Still it's new Rackham stuff... It's rumoured to be an new new Living Legend figure, a New Devourer. (most likely gonna be limited edition like the other wolfen Vargar)

So what's the deal with the big ol' blade in front of the mouth? Never really understood that. Neat figure though - but a nightmare to paint I'm betting.

No clue about the blade... but I'm sure it will make a headbutt quite painfull... for both parties. The chin blade is dumb really... Inmagine that getting stuck in a self freshly made corpse... There goes your warriors flair... would look rather stupid if that happens. Truthfully I never got the chin blade thing. Bloody akward to fight with if at all possible. Rather makes you vunerable instead of strong. (dislodged jaw anyone?).. not to mention it getting awfully in the way for quite a few weapons swings of your arms.... ah well... guess that's fantasy for you.

@website: total and utter crap! Looks like someone just found out how you can (ab)use Flash...The website isn't clear and doesn't show you very well to go and is just way too slow. I really hate it now.
The Devourer looks cool :)

I agree that the main website is crap. It's cool for 5 minutes the first time you see it, then it just gets tedious and difficult to navigate. Websites should be made with HTML, not Flash, IMO.

thats the standard problem with flash IMO

people get overenthusiastic about it ;)

However, I do like the site, and still enjoy using it, so its not half as bad as it could be :D
